Samsung is the Manufacturer of A5 Chip Discovered in Tweaked Apple TV

As we know it was expected to come with an improved chip. MacRumors has recently found that it comes with A5 chip. They had also claimed that the new A5 chip is not manufactured by Samsung. Now they are claiming that Samsung is still the manufacturer of A5 chip discovered in tweaked Apple TV. MacRumors has received this information from chipworks.

If you are a lover of Samsung, then you will be happy to know that this company is the manufacturer of the new chip used in the new version of Apple television. Previously it was expected that the new Apple TV will come with A5X chip, but it did not include this chip. MacRumors has found A5 chip in this device. They had claimed that the new A5 chip is smaller than the previous A5 chip and TSMC is the manufacturer of the new chip that is used in the new version of the Apple television. Now it is confirmed that this chip is not produced by TSMC. It is produced by Samsung. According to Chipworks, they have examined the new chip to know more information about it. After examining it, they have found that Samsung has used its 32-nm process to manufacture the new chip.

It is expected that the next generation Apple TV will come with improved processor. If you are waiting to take the advantage of the new processor on your Apple TV, then you have to wait for some more time because Apple has not provided any information regarding its launch date.
